The shoelace color is "volt", and yes, I run like lightning wearing these.
The only thing I would change is the material. Can we go on forever making shoes out of plastic? If we survive long enough as a species, then one day the garbage can on the corner will turn anything you throw in into energy without any weird chemical byproducts. But until that day, what to do? Give up running? Of course not! Run barefoot, at your local track. Better for the earth, better for your body. But running for a crosswalk, running out of the way of a drunken bus, running away from the K-9 unit, running really fast because you're paranoid and you think this will help, running [fill in with your own emergency situations], and you need a barrier between your foot and the urban detritus. During Revolution 1, we made some mistakes, but we're smarter now. Revolution 2 IS Our Future.
Perfect for my son who wears them every day to school

My son picked these out because of the color and style and he prefers Nike. Since he has wide feet, we picked out the 4E wide size. They're very comfortable, he says. He's worn them every single day for about 3 weeks straight. He loves them so much he probably would wear them to sleep!

I went into this purchase blind and just hoped that it would work out. I was more than pleasantly surprised. These shoes are great and I love the fit. I have wide feet and it didn't matter. They fit perfect. I bought these for running shoes but they look great for casual shoes as well. I'd highly recommend.
