Ballerina Red Shoes

Icy!!!

My son finally reached the age where he is starting to become very fashion-focused. Given the price of Jordan's sneakers, I was not looking forward to this time. I actually cringed a little when he came to me and asked me, with a hopeful look in his eye if he could have a pair of Jordan's sneakers. I screamed a resounding "Are you crazy?!" while looking at him as of he had 4 heads. I prepared myself to give the speech about overspending on things just because of the name brand, but he shut me down immediately when he showed me this pair on Amazon for a ridiculously low price. The glee on his face when I ordered them was almost a "coming of age" moment, as was the glee when they finally arrived. We examined them carefully and my resident shoe expert verified that they are authentic and I must admit, they are quite fetching. My son has wide feet and wears a size 13 shoe, but he claims that these are some of the most comfortable shoes he now owns. And based

ALL Nike's squeek. Here's how to fix it...

I own these shoes in sz 10.5 and love them. Not as comfy as my 2009 Air Jordans (Red/White), 2007 Air Force I's (white/white), or Monarch II's (white/blue) but the style makes up for it. As you can tell Im a fan of Nike's 'Air' line but lemme tell you what... THEY ALL SQUEEK! Even the $300 Air Jordan's...sad. Here's what the problem is, and you can check this on youtube... The insole of the shoe can be pulled up (sometimes they just come up on their own after a while and you can play with it with your toes) and you'll see a layer of nylon. Under the nylon layer is the air bed (looks like bubble wrap but is harder), under the air bed is where the rubber starts. The air bed rubs against the rubber, usually right around the ball of your foot area, and it makes the squeek. You'd think that after all the moaning and groaning about this issue for the last few years Nike would figure out how to fix it. But apparently they just dont care. They know you

They are comfortable in spite of the swelling in my foot

I ordered these because I just had foot surgery. I started wearing them after almost 7 weeks after surgery. They are comfortable in spite of the swelling in my foot. They are flexible and can withstand the swelling without making my foot hurt. I never wear athletic shoes, but had too because of my post surgery orders from my Dr. I liked them so well that I have also ordered a black pair. They are not big and clunky like a lot of athletic shoes. I am a hairdresser and these will allow me to stand on my feet for many hours. I am so glad I found them. My 16 year old granddaughter told me she almost ordered the same pair. At least i feel in style. So cute, and comfy so far I have been eyeing these for so long and I finally got them. The only shipping available was expedited though, so I was forced to buy that. Even though Amazon said it would arrive in a week (which I was ANNOYED BY and concerned) but it WAS shipped in 2 days. So no worries, but Amazon needs to be a little more accura

Fantastic Running Shoes

I have recently purchased these running shoes for working out, and also for casual wear. These shoes have been incredible, and this review is being evaluated based on style, fit and feel, and price. Style These shoes look amazing. The contrast between the black and white make these shoes really pop, and the added red for the laces and shoe interior is a great touch. These shoes look best with black shorts if you are using them for working out, but they also look great with jeans if you are wearing them in casual situations. The laces are a bit short, but these can be replaced cheaply. Fit and Feel I love the way these shoes feel. My shoe size is 11.5 for men's shoes, and the 11.5 size for Nike Men's Downshifter 6 running shoes fit my feet perfectly. Do not fret over ordering online; your typical size will be perfect for these shoes. The shoe in general feels well built and stable, but what is amazing is that it feels this way while being incredibly light. If you'r

My All around Workout shoe

I bought these because a shoe store was going out of business, and everything was 70% off. So this was not a researched buy. I wanted something I could run on the treadmill with, and I run heavy on my heals. These are BY FAR the lightest shoes I ever owned. The pebbled sole allows for flexing in any direction, and the shoes provide a really good cushion in the heal. The mesh (that I thought was cheap) has actually held up very well, and allows for LOTS of air flow. The ankles are padded, and low (I have low ankles) so they do not dig into my ankle even a little. I wear these with UA HeatGear Lowcut Black socks, and so I have NEVER had a problem with sweating. I have had these for 4 months. I run every Saturday for 2 hours. I have Boxing Followed by MuayThai (lots of Kicks), every Monday and Friday. 2 Hours each. I have Krav Maga (lots of kicks) every Wednesday. 2 Hours. There is VERY LITTLE wear on the Balls of the feet, and Inner edge of the Ball of the foot. Everyt

Perfect Road-running Shoes!

This is my first pair of Nike flex shoes and it made me surprised. It is a great choice for people who love exercise. Also, it is a pair of high performance everyday shoes. I like jogging on the sidewalks in the morning. Therefore a pair of comfortable running shoes is especially crucial for me. Basically, I choose running shoes based on its material, design and shoe width. I bought this pair of shoes two months ago and it meets all my requirements on running shoes. Advantages Material One of the advantages of this pair of shoes is that it has lightweight mesh upper to give me a feeling of breathable comfort. Nylon mesh is a kind of durable material that can reduce the weight of shoes and enhance breathability. As a result, when I am running on the pavement, this pair of shoes usually does not make me too tired compared to other running shoes I had, particularly in summer. After the long way jogging, my feet do not feel hot or sweaty as usual. Design Moreover, the shoes hav

Good. Shoes. Best lightweight sneaker

UPDATE (11/24/15) I wrote this goofy review over 4 years ago and these shoes are still in my closet and still look almost new. Now, I have NOT been wearing them daily for four years...that would be pretty impressive. I've gone over to the lower-profile look of Converse shoes. However, I still think these shoes look pretty good, and compared to my flat-bottomed Converse they have better grip on the soles. During a snowstorm last winter, I went out for groceries and didn't want to drive in the harsh conditions, so I threw on a parka and walked to the store (only a mile away) in these shoes...which worked great for that purpose. To keep with the theme of the original review...I wouldn't recommend climbing Mt. Everest in them, but they are great all-purpose shoes. (Also the color I have is still not pictured here...I'll see about uploading a product photo at some point because you might be able to find that color elsewhere if it suits your fancy). ORIGINAL (SILLY) RE

Whappoww!! Ninja sneaks for bosses of chill

These lightweight, super comfortable, super fly ninja shoes are...deadly. I think you can pretty much do anything in them: run, fly, shoot lightning bolts, be invisible, be awesome, etc. Many color options are available for any and all missions, be it covert op or just generally winning at life. These kicks are ready for just about anything. This is my second pair. The first pair have lasted me 2 years on practically all terrain types and still have good tread, still have magic powers, still ride like a Ferrari, still look good (every once in awhile, after they're getting a bit dusty from the trail of victory, I fill the washing machine with water, put a cup of bleach in there, swish it around, drop these bad boys in there, put a couple white bath towels on top of them to keep them submerged, and hit "go". Presto. After you let them AIR DRY , they look brand new again.). They seem to be immortal. Some basics: They ride low to the ground for good tactile sensitivi

Great Shoes, Great Price, Good quality

If you're looking for 'pretty' shoes then these are not for you. If you are looking for comfort that lasts all day long, stability from a sole that is wider & firmer than normal walking shoes, water proof to keep your feet dry in wet weather, soles that do not slide on wet floors then these shoes are for you. There was no break in period for me. I've worn hiking shoes before & already know what to expect. They are heavier than walking shoes, the soles are firmer & wider so you are stable on your feet and you can feel it when you walk. Comfort lasts all day long. Expect a shoe that doesn't breathe too well, so your feet will be warm in winter & hot in summer. I wear an 8.5 comfortably in regular walking shoes, so I ordered the same in these. I want to say they run a little large, but that wouldn't be exact. Hiking shoes are made to be worn with thick socks and these shoes do have a little extra room for a thicker sock. Overall the fit is as

This is a great shoe for a nice price

This is a great shoe for a nice price. I'm in my late 60's and have very flat feet. My husband and I do a 5 mile trail walk almost every day. These shoes provide good stability and support. I wear a 71/2....the fit is true to size. Shopping Amazon for my Asics is great and fast too. Their return policy can't be beaten. Thanks Amazon😊😭 Highly recommend! I love these shoes! I am hard to please as well due to planters factitious, fallen arches and lots of screws in my ankle. Great arch support and really beautifully designed shoe. The photo doesn't do them justice. They make me happy looking at them and wearing them. I only wear them to work out and they feel great! Great price too!! Great value and fit I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit very well. The first day out required a little breaking in, I had some tightness on the right side of my foot. But after wearing them a couple of days, they're great. I wear them for walking/jog

A great and versatile shoe for a nature lover!

I just wore these water shoes for the first time yesterday and I have to say I am extremely happy with them! My family and I spent our day at one of our favorite lakes with our small boat. I was able to stand in the water, even the rockier areas, easily and comfortably with these water shoes. They fit snug enough so that I did not have a lot of sand or other debris in the bottom of the shoe. In fact, I did not need to take them off for the entire day! We even did a bit of hiking to try them out and my feet were very comfortable. This is impressive as I don't have the strongest arch and as of recently have had some foot tenderness. Even today my feet feel great! I would highly recommend this brand of shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable water shoe. The only cons I might have was that they did take a long time to ship. It seems they came straight from Asia (not sure what country) so if I would have needed to return them that would have been a hassle. Also, they do run on the

Great traction, good value!

I haven't had these shoes very long, so I can't speak to their longevity, but they served my purpose well. On a trip to Jamaica, I climbed Dunn's River Falls wearing these shoes. My footing always felt very secure! I believe I can safely say the shoes provide excellent traction. The ankle lacing holds them on very well--that was a feature I wanted to make sure I had so that the shoes wouldn't be likely to slip off. The shoes were comfortable in the water, but when I first tried them on at home and wore them around the house a bit, they chafed. On top, where the emblem is attached, there are apparently some threads and seams that rubbed my foot uncomfortably. Again, this was not a problem in the water; the shoes were quite comfy there. I love the color (fuchsia and pink). Size 9 was a good fit for my feet which measure an 8 1/2. They were long enough without being prone to slipping off. These shoes are a good deal for the price. If you do water aerobics frequently,

Soft, supportive slipper

I almost haven't taken these off my feet since they got here a few days ago. I've got plantar fascitis and very pronated feet, and they've been getting worse since we moved to a house with all wood and tile floors. These slippers haven't instantly gotten rid of my pain, but they're definitely helping. I keep them next to my bed, and put them on before I stand up in the morning and now the pain is tolerable. I'm hoping my feet will start improving now that they're properly aligned. The slippers also have a flexible plastic bottom so I can wear them outside to check the mail. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not a huge fan of the styling. I kind of feel like I'm wearing my grandma's house shoes. It's worth it, but I would have liked something a little cuter. **Edit: 3 months later and I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. I don't care what they look like. I want to wear them all the time they feel so good. Great sl
