Best shoe ever
These shoes fit very snugly and are extremely comfortable...definitely true to size. They are noticeably well-manufactured and definitely seem sturdy for the suede material they're made of. The inside of the shoe which rests upon the back of the foot is made of a comfy rubber-type material which makes them great should your socks ride down or you decide to not wear socks.
Hard to improve upon a classic!
Iconic, good-looking, comfortable shoe. My first pair since junior high school. Liked them then, still like them. The Suede Classic is basically the same shoe as the original Puma Clyde: the first basketball star-licensed sneaker, from Walt (Clyde) Frazier, who knew style and liked to look good on and off the court. (Before the era of basketball stars competing to put their name on the most outlandishly hideous galoshes.)
After all the years of being forced to buy increasingly gaudy, clown-like sneakers at the mall sport shoe stores, I rebelled and started shopping online a few years ago. Wanted a casual sport shoe that looked like a casual shoe, and actually went with the rest of my clothing--not like my feet were on acid. Loved the Emerica Reynolds Cruiser in the new lines of skateboarding shoes with a classic retro look--simple, elegant suede styling with comfy padding. Bought several colors until they were recently discontinued (even ordered my last pair from Europe).
