New Balance Men's MX608V4 Training Shoe
Great for exercise or casual wear
It's a great shoe. Fits just right and cradles your foot perfectly so as to give stability when you're exercising or just simply walking. Attractive enough so can be work with casual slacks for social events.
I will definitely be buying more.
No brand of shoes fit my feet like New Balance. I've owned three pair of 608s but always bought the white ones. So going camo was a big change. I really like them. Note that the trim is orange. Inside the box with these shoes was a spare pair of laces. In orange! They look great. I will definitely be buying more. I own a lawn care business and bought them to work in. Besides being comfortable all day long the camo pattern means they never look dirty like my white ones would.
A Shoe For All Seasons
These are terrific shoes - comfortable in all aspects with support in all the right places. I run tennis tournaments for a living and when on-site I am often on my feet all day from 7:00 A.M. until as late as 9:00 or 10:00 P.M. I have worn New Balance 623 for years but recently New Balance changed the design of this shoe so I switched to the MX608V4.
The toe box in the 608's is wider than that found in the 623 making the 608 much more comfortable particularly if you are on your feet for prolonged periods of time. When this happens it's inevitable that one bursts small blood vessels in the feet which leads to the edema or swelling at the end of the day. The extra width in the toe box makes the 608 more comfortable throughout a long day. These shoes have good arch support plus terrific cushioning for impact absorption. In short they are a big improvement in my opinion over the 623's.
These shoes are so comfortable that we ordered two pairs for the War Department (a.k.a. Mrs. B.) who is hard to fit. For her we get men's size 7 4E. Yep, think little short wide webbed feet like a duck. Anyway these are so comfortable that she wears them all the time. The bottom line is that we ordered a three extra pairs for each of us just in case New Balance changes this model like they have changed so many different models over the years.

Great Shoe, Great Support, Great Comfort!
My husband has worn New Balance for many years, and this New Balance style provides the comfort and good support that he has always found in New Balance. I was glad to see Amazon had this shoe in the extra wide width which is normally very difficult to find. The shoe was delivered on time, and was exactly as described as well as giving him the perfect fit. He needed a New Balance in black which is also difficult to find. I would highly recommend this shoe.
