I wear a 8.5 in most shoes so I ordered a 9. They fit like a glove, so I put them on today to wear them around the house and break them in. This brand run a little small but I too suggest a half size up, but at the same time when it comes to boots, I like the extra space. It allows me to put some extra layers on during the winter months. Furthermore I notice no breaking in necessary. I wore them all day. They were extremely comfortable and soft from the moment I slide them on.
As for the exterior of these boots they look nice and the stitching design looks well intact. The heel to me isn’t so high and I feel well secure on them. I even wore them out to eat tonight with my jeans. I assure you I will be wearing these more than occasionally. I am very impressed and would recommend them. Boot Scoot Boogey
I usually do not wear cowboy boots and never owned a pair so I didn't want to invest in a very expensive pair and not like them. These boots look genuine enough with intricate stitching without breaking the bank. I took a risk and got these although the shaft circumference stated 14" and my calves are 17". They just fit my calves (see pics) but I have not tried to stuff skinny jeans in them yet but I can wear them alone with a dress/skirt or with leggings. I did order up a size ( usually size 9 and orderd a 10) as recommended in the previous reviews and they fit fine in size. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review but are my own and not influenced in anyway.

Yes, these boots are made just a bit small. I would suggest a half size up.
The boots are great. I am not able to tell the difference between these and real leather boots. There is even a leather smell to these boots.
They are very soft and feel very nice. A favorite feature is the soles. On my other cowboy boots, the sole is smooth and can be slippery. These boots, though, have a gripping sole. I don't know what it is, but it feels grippy but not sticky.
The boots have nice stitching and look really nice. I can't wait to show my niece these boots. Like I said, they look like real leather but even vegans can love these boots.
