sizing confusion resolved?
Ballet shoes are cute and sweet, and is a proponent of the Capezio Ballet
wear. I see all the confusion on the size, and notice that the chart sizes that Amazon provides a chart used by Amazon for all shoes. This ballet slippers are perfect. However, I do not know if they might have changed the size since I read the other reviews and follow their advice to order a half size larger. And of course, they are too big. Not quite so, but enough that I wish I'd ordered the regular size my daughter. Oh, well. The four-year-olds grow up fast, so I'm sure he will grow into it at a time when dance performances came around!
I'm not measuring his feet with a tape measure and compare it with the size chart provided. He was measured at 11, so I ordered an 11.5. I recommend the measure with a tape measure and order true to size.

If you are new to buying dance shoes, make sure you go to the manufacturers website to check their size! Buy dance shoes is not like buying shoes on the street.
We checked the size info, and see that this is comparable to the Dance Shoe road shoes size, so we chose to wake up 1 size. When my daughter's shoes, try them on, and they are just what we were looking for. There's just enough room in the shoe for him to grow as a Dance season underway. We originally purchased at a specialty store dance. When it came time for the next size, awesome prices to Amazon. I am 4 years in a cramped legs, and this is perfect (we have a narrow style). You can tighten them a little by pulling and tie the rope, and the elastic band that runs on top of the legs are not too tight or too loose. Big, holding the Shoe color well (we have a pink), and my little ballerina loves them! You usually can't go wrong with Capezio dance products. Make sure you try it in a local store before you buy, so that you get the correct size & don't waste money sending it back.
