Comfortable, feather-light, great support and traction
I ordered this for my mom who has been wearing new balance shoes over the years for jogging and walking--and he fell in love with them already. Compared to some reviewers who've said this model runs a bit on the small side, they fit perfectly right away and, unlike a lot of sneakers, they don't need to be "broken" first to become comfortable. Shoes are so light, they sent the box felt like it was empty, and yet they provide very good support and traction. Lightweight and support which is very helpful in allowing my mother to walk a greater distance as well, because they would be easier on her back. They have the appearance of a rather narrow, but in fact they are the same width as the other shoe of equal size. Also, the colors are quite vibrant, but without being too showy or flashy look. My wife is very happy to get these shoes. He does a lot of running and aerobics and he tried with both activities. Here's what he had to say.
Lightweight and comfortable shoe but despite the light provides a lot of support. This super comfortable. I add parenthetically I am but I have always done it; This helps with fit. I have a 6.5 and usually wear a 6, but with inset was perfect. This means that the shoe size smaller than advertised. It seems to be slightly larger than the usual 6 but certainly not as large as 6.5, so the size runs small.
Color patterns are stylish shoes, "as in" design that some of the others in the gym has been wearing. That will not affect the performance of shoes, of course, but they are interesting and certainly getting attention.
In short, I like good support and lightweight. You don't even feel like you wear big shoes like that. They're really very good for running and aerobics classes.
Great for really narrow feet
So far I am madly in love with these shoes. I use it on the treadmill and my legs didn't feel like they were going to fall apart after a workout. So far, I have to walk very quickly (hope to work up to a jog) with slopes of up to 15%.
I bought 12 narrow. I always wear 12 narrow with new balance. So if your feet have not changed much, no matter what size you wear with new balance before you will probably wear with this. I have a very narrow foot, and these shoes are much more comfortable than regular NB narrows. I love it! It's nice to wear athletic shoes that really fit.
I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.
Wonderful Shoe
I have a problem with every shoe in the past when it comes to finding a balance between a good amount of fits, cushions and lightweight. Well, all three factors come into play with this shoe. It was so amazing and I recommend it!
Great Light Running Shoe
When I first tried them I think they might be a bit small but after walking there is no pinching. I get some pain in the lower part of my left leg after my first two or three runs but after running wet/muddy shoes and have that go perfectly since. They are very lightweight and super comfortable (now).
