What a Croc!?
At first I didn't know what to make of these slippers/shoes ... it's light, comfortable and "conversion", which is a nice feature that I haven't seen in sandal before. First, I will break down the benefits, then give the low point.
"LIGHTER & COMFORTABLE"
This is probably the most interesting feature of the CROC, because it adds to the comfort and make you feel like you are walking on air. As far as the things that are the most comfortable I've ever worn and I am a picky person's shoes. I have only had 1 pair of slippers for 6 years and have hated any other Sandals I've tried, so this is definitely special CROCS.
"CONVERSION"
You can change the "flip" into "shoes" just pushing forward with the rope. In the mode of "shoes", this is a comfortable fit tighter, so you don't have to worry about it coming from your legs. In the mode of "Sandals", it's easy to slip on and off (although it has a tendency to cling to the bottom of your foot), for quick trips outside to take out the trash, or take the cell phone that You left behind in the car.
PROBLEM: "SWEATY FEET"
One problem I have with the CROC is that it's not very well ventilated. Of course, it's got holes. But the material such that it traps heat so that you end up sweating feet in warm weather.
THE PROBLEM: THE "HOLE ALLOWS THE DEBRIS IN"
Another problem is that holes allows all sorts of debris into slippers while you walk, such as loose stones, wood chips in a playground, sand and dirt (when you're not on the beach), and rain water (puddle in the parking lot). This means that you get your feet dirty rather quickly and can be comfortable in a place where there is a lot of rubble — for example, playing.
"SIZE & PRICE"
The size is a bit weird. I would recommend going to the store to try it out first and see what your size is. It's hard to find a good selection at the store, so it's best just to swim in to size and then buy you want on Amazon. It turned out to be the best for me, because I was able to Score Army Green Caymans from Amazon, when looking at the many shops that I've only been able to find the Caymans blue and black in sizes too big. For $ 29.99 I thought actually somewhat expensive, but if you're picky about Sandals like me, there's nothing you can do about it.
"STYLE"
One other thing that you have to get used to is how aesthetically disgusting it is. Let's be honest: it was fucking ugly shoes and there's no way getting around it. It is not the prettiest thing to wear, but it was hands-down the most comfortable. Just take where you tread. Certainly not all-terrain Sandals/destination. Good for the beaches and sidewalks/casual short trip running.
"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BEACH AND CAYMAN STYLE"
Does not exist. Except that the size for your version of Beach "range" and more roomy for your feet. Cayman Islands the size of precise and narrower. Try before you buy version is not the same as.
They're THAT Comfortable!
I am having a hard time wearing any shoes, and have spent a substantial amount of money with Dansko's, Keens, Birks, you name it. This shoe is the answer to my prayers. They are light as a feather, fun and has wide toebox and a good arch support. Just bought it for my mother and 65-year-old he hasn't taken them. I hope everyone will be wearing it all the time so that I could get away with wearing them to more formal occcasions as business meetings.
They seek hilarious so I kind of deliberately buy them in outrageous colors so they are even more clearly! Yu can wear it with a strap forward like a clog or behind Your heel. You can wear them with or without socks. You can wash them too. You will love this.
Better Than Expected,
I was hesitant to buy this for some reason. First, they're the ... You know--the rubber? Plastic? Something like that ... Second, how sad ... you know--not masculine? Types of sissified world? Finally, the picture makes them look thinner. So It's Okay. Yes--they sort of man-made rubber/plastic/neoprene/something, but that makes them waterproof means you can leave them on the deck after you have worked on the page and you don't have to worry about them getting mushy and mangled. No--they are not the most masculine shoes I've ever seen, so you have to be confident enough in Your manhood if you wear them in the city but I got them for yard work which is quite macho. And no, they're not as thin as the picture looks. I don't know how long it'll last strap heel, but I don't use it half the time anyway and for some reason, your feet don't slip out of the shoe without it, so if it does break--Super Glue and duct tape. THEN they will see the masculine!
Perfect!
What can I say, they are Crocs. They are comfortable. They are not the most stylish shoes but the fact that they can be worn everywhere in Orlando makes up for that. They are fine to get wet at the beach or pool, fine to get sand all over, fine to wear in the mud (as long as you don't mind your feet getting muddy too) because you just have to hose them off. I was just happy to finally find a pair in mens size 13 for my husband. He has wanted them for a couple of years now and we could never find his size. I never thought to look online until a few days ago. I'm glad I did.
