My normal street size fits
I know a lot of the dance shoes fit everyone different depending on whether you're a child or adult, whether you have a narrow, average, or wide foot, etc., but I went to a dance shop and tried these on (and bought them) and my street size fits perfectly. I have a narrow to average width foot. They make these in wide as well of course if you think you will need them.
Great for men too! Salsa dancer
I've been dancing Salsa for 5.5 years, and unfortunately, I sometimes find myself having to dance on carpet instead of wood floors. I got tired of dancing in my socks, so I decided to buy these. I have bought shoes before in Ecuador and they used European sizes, so I already knew I was a 44, so looking at the sizing info for women's sizes, I went for a 13.5 (just between 44 and 45). They feel great on my foot and they look great as well. Having them on with pants, they look like a typical practice shoe, even for salsa dancing. Great buy.
First timer
Bought these shoes for my daughters dance class. Was not sure what size to order as everyone had their own experience and opinion in their reviews. I was afraid to purchase them directly online from other stores as they either did not allow refunds or if they did I had to pay for return shipping and the replacement shipping. Those deals seemed like rip offs. I had my daughter try out both the Bloch and Capezio brands for size and fit at a dance supply store. The sales person and another walk in customer insisted that my daughter purchase the Bloch pair which I personally could see that they were of poor quality but by daughter liked the fit. She felt that the Capezio was tighter and I told her that they would stretch after a few wears. We then decided that she would check with her dance teachers and classmates and see which one they liked. All thumbs up for Capezio. So I ordered a size 7M. For street shoes she wears a size 6. She loves them, wore and skipped in them the moment we opened the box. The tip of her big toe touches the front end of the shoe. Will see in a few weeks what happens to them.
Amazon is great. The shoes were shipped right away with Prime and I knew that if I had a problem I could either exchange or ask for a refund without a hassle.
World's Best Shoes
I haven't danced since I was 15 due to a knee injury, however I never quit wearing dance shoes and I am now 60. These are the best shoes I have ever worn. This is my 4th pair and I am so happy to have found them on Amazon my favorite shopping place. They are soft, comfortable and warm in the winter if worn with socks. I walk, run, work and play in these shoes. Wore them to Disneyland and never had a problem with sore feet and we walked some miles each day. I could go on and on about the positive things I know about these shoes but it is only fair I mention the one negative....they don't come in enough colors. I want red, yellow, purple, lime green, orange and blue. If they made them I would own them.
I have tried other brands and types and although they were comfortable, they did not compare to Capezio "E" Series Jazz Slipons.
Good price and quality. Happy I went with a well known brand
They fit a bit snug on my daughter's feet at first. But after one dance class they fit fine and have somewhat molded to her feet. There is also a little extra padding in them for comfort. The material on the other dance shoes she had was extremely thin.
i love it !!
i was in need of jazz shoes for a musical that i was in, and non of the stores in my are had my size (12), but i found these online and followed the reviews and ordered a size bigger (13). i got my shoes 2 days later in the mail tried them and they were just the right fit, they were very comfortable to dance and jump around in. they exeded my expectations so i strongly recomend them !!
