Yes, I am a dork. I only bought this because they bleached Chucks are the same ones worn by Doctor Who. Love em '! Look out for size if you have wider feet. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear because the Converse is always destroy my toes on the pinky side. Size Chucks that I could wear comfortably always end up having a leg-iron that goes beyond my toes ... so basically empty rubber tip, but they don't feel too big, but just right and they look good on me. Now I just need to work on Doctor Who-style hair. Ha!
* UPDATE: this is real Converse, no matter what the other reviewers say. I see that the only and patch has no circle "R" Stamp brands and I did call the company was afraid I might be a fake. Rep says they dropped "R" in Chucks some time ago and they have Converse created in Viet Nam, Indonesia and China as well. Plus, I already bought the Chucks
for 26 yrs and like they never have the "insole pads". They are always flat, hard ... it was just like them.Why the hell would someone put "made in Indonesia" on the tag if they try to "fake" American products? Hello? Duh. Don't panic, peeps. The canvas is the normal quality, strict and clear star patch and normal rubber Soles. They are legit! I looked into it because I don't want to fake good Chucks. Do your research before giving bad reviews.
Best Shoes EVER!
I have a pair of low-top yellow for Christmas last year and I love them! They will get holes in them because I wear them so much, and I try to pick what color I should get. There is so much to love about these shoes. There's like 25 colors to choose from, so there is a oppourtunity to have one for each outfit piar. Or, you can wear only one pair, as I did, and I go with everything. These shoes are breathable, unlike tennis shoes, so your feet don't get all sweaty, is good too. These shoes are flat enough on the inside, but no one put can't fix. THESE SHOES ARE THE BEST!
Pleasantly Surprised
I see someone my age (50) put on a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's and thinking "Man, I was wondering if comfortable like that when I was a kid?" and then I thought that actually looks pretty good. I just received an Amazon gift card for $ 25.00 and don't know what to spend it on, well now I do. I'm going to get myself a pair. So I went to Amazon website and are ready to order but before I did I read some review. I am glad I did! What I keep reading is how they fit true to size, but several reviews stating they do. So I went to the local store and tried a few pair. I'm a size 11 and sure enough they were too big. I tried it on 10 and it fits, but it's still tight around the outside end of the area. The store I don't have 10-1/2 and also not 2 other stores around it. I decided to order 10-1/2 and decide if the worst happens it can send them back? Well I got them and as my title States the review I was surprised that 10-1/2 is perfect. I highly recommend trying a pair before buying them. I bought a top that is low is not bleached and also liked the fact that the same bleached color strap sneaker. They look great. I love how they look with shorts and they look very cool with a pair of your favorite jeans. Other reviews talking about the lack of support and it's true, but the flatness of them at their convenience. I compllments to Amazon and Lastpairs to have size 10-1/2. So go out and get yourself a pair. Pamper yourself with some old time comfort and style.
So Cool and No Kicking Off
This way the hips and boots because they are my children, not hightops started their convertible! I haven't heard complaints about comfort from him either. They have raised two sons and a bit faded from frequent washing, but finding all the coolant.
